well yes another great ride - and one where I got more than I bargained for  - although as always a great learning Huh
the bike is now well and truly ensconced at boltons with a view to a recovery this saturday - and after a bit of a look on sunday appears the issue was the "button behind the button" on the electic start was also broken - hence the issue - but brad - i have also asked for a new spark plug, a removal of the cutouts and the replacement with the various cable ties with something more akin to what came with the bike {michael i'll get the rim locks when the tyres are next done - at this stage about a fortnight!]

also sincere thanks to all for the patience and good humour, to michael , simon, fred [and one or two others - names escape me] for the assistance with the bike - and also to jarrod for the tow out - now the ride itself was great but in parts paled into insignificance compared to being towed down the main road at 65km an hour Shocked  [with no apparent control]

now to get through a day at cobaw with Mat on the 28th....

finally thanks to Brad for leading and arranging the ride and Marls who can always be counted on to come up with a flattering photo......

David you keep going and two words come to mind persistence and encouragement. On that hill when you asked me if you could go around Saturday, it was possible. However it was very important to try; which with your bike concerns was even more difficult. The elation people feel when they do something they think they can't is fantastic for oneself and the group. Look at yourself going downhills now without issue, but awhile ago you were walking down, it's a big change in confidence and with more practice with get you to level 2 in no time. Well done!

Well done Brad, another great day. It was evident by the numbers how much we like your rides and riding in general even though the conditions were pooty.
PS. Thanks to all the Yammy riders who rode Paul Bryce's KTM up the hills for him. Well done.
