I drove up the Calder Fwy to meet John t, Ted, Phil, John Lay, fred, Marls and Gerrard at Mc Donalds just after Calder Park, we headed off for Len Rhodes ride around Chewton Area.
We arrived and Len was there with about 3 other punters, we all got ready, Fred mounted his Go Pro Video recorder to my handle bars and off we went. It was a fabulous day for a ride with the track lightly damp from a small amount of rain.
Len took us into some Narrow tracks, that were grippy and a little bit rocky, i had no idea where we were heading but who cares " I was having a ball on the New Beast" , Marls was on her new GUYTM 350 and Fiona on a GUYTM 300, the riders all seem to be moving at a good pace with only a minute or so wait for the Tailman.
With the Bar mounted Go Pro filming i was tying to move through the Pack and get some good footage of all the rides, Ted had a graceful dismount right in front of me , so hopefully that gets posted
Len ended taking us into Johns area and we ended up at Johns property for Lunch, John and i went to get a top up of Fuel and back to the others for the Arvo ride.
The new 570 got a good workout with John racing by my side, and the Go Pro had a bit of moment when John got in front of me and his Rear wheel lobbed a rock right into the lens, putting a crack from top to bottom " Sorry Freddo" but you wanted some Action Video, and that's what happens when Idiots go mad!!
We got about 10 Minutes from the Cars when Marls ran outta Fuel " Must of been on the Gas to Much" so John went back to get a Couple of Litres to see Her back safe N Sound.
All in all a good day with good People and some full throttle moment that nearly put me on my Ass
