There was talk of Pat looking into allowing AMTRA to do club rego - did anything come of it?

Nothing has happened yet.  Hopefully it will happen early in the new year.

The process of getting AMTRA into the scheme is not that difficult.

We just have to 'prove' to VicRoads that we are a legitimate body, capable of administrating the scheme.

Pat has done some groundwork, and should have some results early in the new year.

I have made some progress on it. I need to submit some documents to Vic Roads and go from there. I cannot see any reason why we would not be able to get it.

Cheers Mick.

Yes, I believe so, but they may be subject to a full roadworthy inspection first.

O ok well I think the CSC Club has a member that does the inspection on bikes and then signs off on that, someone did tell me cars need a RWC but the bikes not so, maybe something to look into, I am looking at getting a dirt bike and a road bike club regoed so am keen to hear how all this turns out then I will be looking at becoming a member of a club that offers this process, AMTRA would suite my riding dirt bikes more than a scramble club as I dont own a scramble bike, I feel it would be rude of me to become a member of a scramble club just to get my road bike and old trail bike club regoed, with AMTRA though I could go on the old dirt bike rides.

Cheers Mick.
