Lets get some idea of how old is an old fart, is it 60 UP, 50 UP, 40 UP, BECAUSE I 'M 44 AND FEEL 55, BUT ACT LIKE I'M 22. And my Wife feels like she's still in her 20's "too me". I'm Confused
Question is "Am i classed as an old Fart" ??

I reckon you've got to be 60 before you can call your self an old fart, it took me a long time to get there, Smiley

Thing is Frankie you have to look at what people wine about which puts them into the category earlier, things like it's too far to travel to Abbeyard, its too cold to go riding, or in my case it is too hot, you get the picture, when you are young nothing matters sh't I think about how long I would spend preparing and how far I would drive years gone by to race a HQ holden, not any more. Good thinking young Serge, can i use this PUBMAN idea that you have thought about , in my ride Description Please ??

I can't lay claim to the term, but I think it's a ripper!

AMTRA used to regularly have Pubman events (before my time), but I think they should be re-instated.

GO FOR IT!

Pubman rides were first introduced by Mick Curwen, who was (is)a manager of a pub although he now lives in Queensland.

I was thinking of how best to describe the Pubman level and I figure it is someone who will go thru or under or over or around just about anything to get to the pub for a feed. Level of support to fellow riders would be full support as long as they are also going to the pub, if they are not going then they would be treated as a clubman level rider and have to deal with it with out much support. To be officially an old fart, you have to hit the 60, so you can get the seniors card.

Ok fella's it has dawned on me that there are a few members who have not thrown a leg over there trail bike for a long time and I would like a expression of interest from members who are over 40 years young now and who would be interested in a level 1 / 2 type morning ride around Neerim Sth some time in may then a social lunch at the pub after words. Also if you are interested, then what day is better for you, Saturday or Sunday.
It would be great to have around 15 or 20 of the clubs old farts along for a great day of socializing. If the level is below the old farts then we can make it just about any level you wish. Will
Hi Will
I would be in it, I am not so much for a challenging Ride any more. I like to enjoy myself riding to the bush, and not come home totaly buggerd. I don't mine some tricky bits, love mud holes and River crossing.
For me it does'nt matter which day, as long it's not pouring down in Buckets or stinking hot(32 plus)
