Hi all. I am considering joining AMTRA and I would like to join a ride or two and see if its for me. Can anyone advise me on what I should be carrying on a given ride please ? Cheers.

Water, some basic tools that fit your bike (wheel nuts, plug spanner and any other special tools) and spares like levers, tubes etc.
We carry a first aid kit within the group, and usually will be able to sort any problems between us or get the rider and bike recovered.
At level 1, not much is expected to be carried while at experienced you should have a fairly comprehensive trail kit that you take with you.
Hope to see you on an AMTRA ride soon.

Carry enough tools to get a front/rear wheel off and a 21" tube. If fixing a flat isn't one of your strong points, more experienced riders will be more than willing to show you how if you have the tools and spare tube

hey red rooster..mate ,jump on any level 1-2 ride and by the end of the day you will know exactly what to carry..check out what people are wearing ,and any of the members will be more than happy to show you what you need..
if all fails, just ride next to marcl , he has enough stuff to build a second bike on the trails..if that all fails, then just pinch erics bike...
