it looks like I may have found a new home for my old XR so I need to find a replacement , something from the 1990s with disc brakes and light, 2 stroke may b nice for a change, WR or KDX or EXC, anyone got something interesting hiding in there shed they wish to part with, let me know. Regards Will

I thought you said you want an old banger!  1990 isn't old!

Go pre-85, that way you can come and do vinduros with Pat and me, ( and anyone else that wants to come along).

Go pre-85, that way you can come and do vinduros with Pat and me, ( and anyone else that wants to come along).
There is a lot of weight to stop when Im on a bike  Grin and without disc brakes its a bit daunting the thought of trying to stop all that mass.

OK I just won a 1984 DT250 with a front disc on the evil bay so I can get the best of both worlds if it turns out ok. Shame about the metal fuel tank.

Looks like you will have a challenge on your hands just 27 days to the old bangar ride to have it all up and running any test rides on the horizon  Wink

it has rec reg already so that makes one bit easier, test ride for sure what days are you working at the moment ?
