You're right it wouldn't matter, looks good wherever people stay they should book sooner rather than later as i think it might fill up quick.

Well, after some soul-searching for the past couple of days, I have decided that I won't be able to compete in the Transmoto this year. I injured my arm a couple of months ago (horse related, not bikes), and it damaged the ligament attachment to my elbow - it's a similar injury to 'tennis elbow'. It is taking forever to heal, and the fact that I wasn't able to complete the full days ride on Zeb's L1/L2 outing on Saturday without it hurting has demonstated that it could still take months before I am back up to speed. So I feel it is better that I don't potentially drag a team down by being unable to complete the Transmoto ride. Fingers crossed for next year! Peter D

Thats a fair call Pete, dont think anyone would have cared though if they had to lift or lessen the work load. Can understand where your coming from though. Ive chosen to do ironman this time for the fact the only presure is on me! And im intrested to see if the three of us finish the ironman, how many laps different my lack of speed to the other two actually equates to after 12hrs? See you hopefully next year, Al

KEEN AS!!!Got given the DVD from last year (thanks Grasshopper)Might have a crack at iron man class to? Al
Well there you go! We have 2, 2 man pony express teams or 1 four man pony express team. Maybe Tim Wainriight might be interested, thats if he's not doing his hair that weekend!! least i got hair old man I'm flat out keen for this! sounds mint id probably go iron man as well. The only problem is funds at the moment as I'm going to have to rebuild the bottom and top end of my bike. Theres also a fair cost in the event and travel ect ect so ill have a serious think about it over the next few days...

By all accounts its an awesome event and you' love it. If you do go, use a trailer that won't self destruct on the way there!!

Most of us are entering ironman class and Seano and Pauly are in a two man team. The thing about this event is you don't have to ride the whole 12hrs if you don't want to, it's pretty casual, you can do 5 laps, 10 laps or 25 laps if you want so you don't really need to be in a team, but in saying that if you want to enter as a team maybe someone here might join you in a team entry
