On the list Buckerooni. Make sure you carry a spare spark plug and tools to change it? Al

thanks Al, is the spark plug for botched river crossings or just a general spare due to the distance covered?

also, I've got a 2006 WR250F, any idea how many extra litres I need to carry to get me to 130K? I'm 73kgs. Speaking some someone on the weekend they mentioned 3 litres - does this sound about right?

also, one more q: how do you fellas carry the fuel? I've got a camelbak blowfish which would have enough storage, but what do you put the fuel in? some kind of bladder?

Buckerooni. Spark plug is for a river crossing gone wrong, which hopefully dont happen. As this is only a level 2 day i will keep them to a minimum. And if your unsure at any of them just ask or walk them. Its also a good idea just to carry a plug anyway, just incase. As for fuel I will carry 2 litres and i ride a 07 WR250F and am a little heavier than you. I probly wont need two litres on the day, but its always good not to have to push your bike home? Most fuel is lost when bikes are laying down having a rest, other wise you should make it easy. Most blokes use 1 litre fuel bottles you can get from the bike shop. I use two plastic bottles and empty them into the tank as soon as i can get them to fit. The main thing riding around Fumina is tyre preasures as this place has teflon covered clay that nothing stick to. Hope that helps Al

Thanks Al, all that sounds good. It was about time for a new spark plug so I'll buy two! Will turn up with about 11psi and the floor pump in the car just in case.

you will wanna drop the rear to about 8psi with ultra heavy duty tubes if you want to go up the hills and not slide helplessly backwards down them.
