Noojee L1/L2 Tri-area ride

Hi, My return form the Ski season brings with it some new tracks in Noojee, Fumina and Neerim South.
Meet at 8.30am for 9am on the bikes the tracks will be a mix of flow, ups and downs, narrow and no river crossings.
As this is a level 1 to 2 ride please respect your fellow riders, remembering we all have to start and learn somewhere. Take care if overtaking and if you are taking it easy try to keep a left line to allow for people to pass. Whatever you do ride at your own pace this is not a race just a good day out with some mates who all want the fun and to get home safe. P.S. The bike in front always has right of way.
Fuel for 100K's minimum NO fuel is available in the ride area. Lunch will be on the trails, Rec Reg welcome.
Start location is the T junction of Mt Baw Baw Tourist Rd and Vesper Rd. Please Note two things the Vesper Rd I am referring to is a RHT at the top of the hill on the C426 MT Baw Baw Tourist Rd as you head from Noojee to Mt Baw Baw. There is NO sign post it is best identified as a RED clay cutting entrance. If you go to far down the Mt Baw Baw road you will hit the next T junction of the C465 Fumina Rd on RHS so turn around go back up the hill and take the first Road on the LHS being Vesper Rd. Note some locals and maps also call this section of Vesper Rd, Ferguson Rd.

If you are up for it refreshments will be at the "Tool Shed" Noojee, afterwards.

Attached is a map.

Hi Brad

I sorry, I'm going to pull out of this ride and go on the Fumina ride. It has sentimental value as it was my first ever ride with AMTRA and I'm up for a clubman ride rather than a level 1/2.

See you at the Trivia night.

Cheers

Zeb the check ride yesterday shows fuel for 100K's will be Ok; best not to run out as its 18K's of uphill'ish trails back to the cars. (Note there is a shortcut back to the cars if fuel miss calculation occurs. There are long sections of flow on this ride before regroups the aim of this is to give people good time is the saddle and there will be NO river crossings.
There is one short section linking Fumina that will be slow going, first gear for L1's and excellent practice of wash away's going up and down. The L2's will be sent on a tougher/longer way around where half the wash away's are reverse camber. After this the L2's will go on a long overgrown track to improve handling skills whilst the L1's will take a break and wait for the L2's to catch up.
Owing to the tracks it will be possible to allow faster riders is some sections to go on ahead as one group and have a blast!
Trying to make the ride suit most people level 1 or level 2 with a strategy to accommodate, however the L1's will get the majority of the mind share, no apologies.

Thanks Brad , will try and work out a way to carry about three extra litres just to make sure I can get through the day.

Sounds like an awsome ride looking forward to it.
