Hi Phil

Sunday has just freed up for me, so may I join in too?

I've got rec reg, so I'll bring sandwiches and keep Dean company.

Thanks

i would have loved to come to this one Phil...but that weekend is fully booked for us, so will be very very keen to come to the next one...in all seriousness though, after riding with me at Neerin last weekend..is this a ride i could handle?...as i would love to have a crack but not if its going to be beyone me Smiley

Hey Sandra, this ride is very easy. It's slippery red clay but no big hills. It's one of the easiest rides I have done but it's a fun ride!   Great place to practice in slippery conditions ... not that easy grippy stuff you have over your side of town lol Smiley

 Cheers

There is some grippy bits in between the slippery bits from memory so don't be too concerned and you will get plenty of help along the way and opportunities to bail early if it all gets too much.

Thanks Phil and tailman Mark, or was that thanks Mark and tailman Phil as you guys seemed happy to mix it up a bit.

Best ride yet, I particularly liked the fact that Phil swapped leader roles with Mark just before he promptly sent the group up the 'Rocky Garden(?)' only to stop and turn around himself.

A few made it all the way..a few including myself didn't - but enjoyed the challenge nonetheless.

Also big thanks to Mark and the two others (sorry - don't have all the names) for helping me extract my DR650 'pig' from the last rise in the 'Rocky Garden' once my clutch gave up and told me you can just 'Go F&$k Yourself'.

Well organised Phil - & always good fun.  Notable quotes:

*  Phil: 'Yeah - just a one hour loop' [3 hrs later...]
*  Mark: 'This is the worst of it - flat fire trails from here' ... [stated just before we turned a bend and found the next 1km vertical rise of rocks and mud!!!...]

Cheers  Grin,

Milo
