hey Will can you put Choppa down for this since we have softys pullin out, he has finally got a leave pass also i thought i might mention cabins at Blores Hill Caravan park to crash in if its gonna be bloody cold... camping in the cold wont do your wounded wing any good i think its $25 a night of so, their phone number is (03) 5148 2495. they are totally bike friendly and the owners are cool... just a thought. its where my Van is and its only 20 minutes from Cheynes bridge with any luck me might even get some snow in the hills i have a pic of snow on the top of Cheynes Bridge track from 2009... but i cant seem to post it

This will be a new ride for most and and old ride for some. On Sunday the 12th of June we will meet at the Chaynes Bridge DSE unloading area at 8.00am to be on the bikes for 8.30am. You will need to carry fuel for 140klm and lunch will be on the trail. It will be Level 2 and if wet possibly clubman. We will be going up and down hills, crossing creaks and possibly a river crossing or 2. The trails will be mainly fast flowing but should be typical South East Vic High Country stuff. I will lead the ride but Ted Hemmingway and Frankie Reefman will be our guides for the day. This will be a very social ride with frequent regroups and rest stops and help will be given were required , remember to pack your sense of humour as with most of my rides there is always a laugh to be had , and it may be even at you If the weather permits some of us may camp there for the long weekend, but if it is to misrable then I would suggest some warm pub on the way home for some tucker. If you've never done a high country ride before and you are a capable level 2 rider then this would be a good one for you to do. Just remember to bring tools to suit your bike including a spark plug spanner incase we need to dewater it and a spare front tube as the terain will be rocky. Infact it may be a good idea to make sure that you have ultra heavy duty tubes already fitted to your bike to lesson your chance of a puncture. The plan is to head to Huggetts Crossing and then head back taking in as many different tracks and trails along the way as we can. The pace should be around 40 klm to 60klm per hour. The goal will be to be back at the cars around 4pm. Remember your cameras as there should be some good photo oportunity's. There will be a limit of 25 spots on this ride so get in quick or miss out. Please note that the ride is the official AMTRA event, the camping is not, it is just a bunch of friends and family taking an opportunity to socialise and camp out and my AMTRA friends are welcome to join in. If you need more info please either PM me or just give me a call on 0414354317. Will 1. Will Munro Ride Leader 2. Ted Hemmingway Shared Ride guide 3. Gary Clarke Shared Tailman dutys 4. Mat Creasy Shared Tailman dutys 5. Frankie Reefman Shared Ride guide 6. Dennis the weak Menace man without water proof skin 7.Choppa 8.Adam Fisher 9.Ronnie O'Rourke 10.Bill Toan 11.Mick Stevens 12.Zeb Colic 13.Simon Jamison 14.Joe Manganaro 15.Wayne Vandenberg 16.Mark Vandenberg 17.Paul Pedley 18.Justin Fulton Well we have lost a total of 7 riders and it will be 8 if my shoulder is no better by Saturday, so if you have he balls for a great winter ride then get your name on he list and head on down. you will not be dissapointed.

Weak as piss! ....I can hardly walk and I'm still going. In saying that Bill, you've left yourself wide open for when ever you pull out of a ride in the future

If the weather is as good tomorrow as it is today you blokes are going to have the ride of the year , I'm so cut I have to miss it, maybe it will rain and I will not feel so bad then. If any of those guys who pulled out for a weak excuse like it might be to cold or to far to drive they need to give up riding bikes, you blokes are up for a great one tomorrow. Have fun and a cold one afterwards for me ok. Will
