If anyone is interested.................
Using the Ämtra grading system" it was a level 1 ride, the "hard" sections were level 2.
Morning loop=70klm. Arvo loop = 90klm
A big percentage of 2wd dirt roads .
The "good bits" were excellent.
Catering was substandard : an hour wait for a piece of raw meat in your post ride hamburger!
Organisation of the ride / checkpoints etc was faultless.

Good feedback Steve.

Makes our HCR meals sound wonderful!

I guess as far as ride standards are concerned, they are trying to ensure that ALL punters get through with a minimum of fuss. Or maybe, the general public want 'easier' rides.

And makes our HCR trails sound 'hard core'!
