I was a Straddy Virgin until yesterday !! Wow - double wow. This place is amazing. Terrain that I had never experienced before, the sand (oh the sand) the whoops ( yeah ! ) and those endlessssssssssssssssss narrow tracks oh lordy !! I seriously feel this ride gave me every emotion there is to have ( minus anger because I was never angry). I could type a 3000 word essay on yesterdays adventures, but "ain't no body got time for dat"! Will add bits as the days go on ( I'm still in recovery mode) Thanx to the gorgeous birthday boy Johnny for leading a fast - no time wasting ride, loved it. Sandra n Shaz, Coop n Hunter for support Luxy = awesome. Those 2 boys are so nice - love their spunk attitude, very friendly. My best babe Rob for the company, driving us there and home in safety. Loves ya xx Tim for helping pull my bike out of the hole of death on that optional hill that I was determined to get up and not take the chicken route. ( I have more stories on Tim later .. ) The tail men My wonderful KLX 450 for being a reliable and trusty steed, my bike was not used to this stuff ! I am seriously thankful I pump weights at the gym several hours every week ... it's been my saving grace. You must be fit to ride this stuff. I have lot's more to add - but to tired to add it now. ZZZZzzzzzzz ( see, I already need more sleep ) Cheers and great to meet some new AMTRA guys. ( when are more chicks gonna start stepping up and start riding these rides - you are missing out !!! ) Yazza ( Emma )

Hi Johnny
Thanks Johnny I had an awesome day. The weather was great and the trails were in a pristine condition no dust and as grippy as.Topped off by A Great bunch of AMTRA people. It just doesn't get any better. I realize now that I wasn't as bike fit-fit-fit- as I should have been. Shocked Shocked Shocked Hey Johnny I hope that you had a nice birthday.
Thanks to Gary doing tailman and dealing with an exhausted old man. Cheers Mate
Thanks to Shaz,Bob,Coops and Hunter for doing the fuel and lunch drop off.
And hey Bob you make awesome tea cheers.
Thanks for a great day.
Cheers
Rudi

WOW!!!
What a great ride. Worth every minute of the 2 hour 45 minute drive. I also should have taken more notice of the "Bike Fit" part in the post Johnny put up. Bit sad when we are half way to lunch and I was thinking it was lunch.
Thanks Johnny. For those who have never been make sure you give it a go at some stage. Johnny puts on a great ride down there with the exception of a couple of skinny tracks that go faaaaaar toooooo loooong. Thanks to Bob and Shaz and the boys for their support during the day and the coffee and biscuits that were great.
I was a bit worried when Johnny said the afternoon section was more flowing and then when Al said they same thing i was very worried. As it turned out they were not lying and it ws a great two hours back to the cars. (Pretty sure everyone was glad to see them)
Thanks again

I can't think of a ride with less open road riding than Johnny's Stradbroke ride. I don't think there was more than about 500 metres of road riding. Some of the trail sections went on for so long it was ridiculous - and talk about a workout, no need to go to the gym for a few days after that. Just as well it's a long way from Melbourne or everyone would riding there. So thanks again Johnny and Bob, and everyone else that helped with carrying fuel and putting on coffee and biscuits at the lunch break and for putting on a great day... Highlights for me include stalling in front of Emma a few times causing her to crack up laughing, then when I took the wrong line she block passes me and someone else as well! Thanks Emma shouldn't you be at home baking a cake or something!?! Had a great dual with Seano too (get you back next time Seano...), and had little success trying to keep up with Johnny and Tim, but the little 200 ktm sure got a workout trying... Also, apologies for leaving early Johnny, bad form I know, plus I regretted missing the afternoon sections, but the distance is a bit of a problem as I'd committed myself to dinner in Melbourne... that's what you get for trying to do too much in one day! But a what great day! Thanks Bob for guiding us back to the cars, without that I'd still be out there getting eaten alive by the mossies!! Thanks again I really appreciated the day, Cheers, Simon J.

Hi Johnny, thanks for a great ride, big thanks to Bob, Shaz and Cooper for letting Hunter tag along in the 4 x 4 he had a ball, brilliant place to ride and yes you have to read the fine print about being "bike fit" as the whoops tend to wear you out ! , had an off and almost destroyed a radiator but the rad guard saved the day, will be back for the next one, cheers Gary.

TOTALLY BRILLANT RIDE!!!!!!!!! From start to finish. There was a couple of whoops in the morning and a few tight trials as well. The look on some of the punters faces when they thought we had made lunch rather than smoko, was quite amusing Totally perfect trail selection for the entire day, with possibly some room for a few more tight trials This is a very rewarding place to ride if your bike fitness is good, but a hell of a workout if its not. (so I'm told, and by the mass exedus at lunch I guess?) The blast home really had the after burners on and was a absolute hoot! Thanks for the day mate, and to Bob, Shaz, Coop and Hunter for making it all possible. And batting up for a few more trails on the Sunday was a great way to spend Fathers Day as well. Put me down for the next one Johnnyh, next weekend is good for me Al

Oh My Goodness when johnny said "must be bike fit" he weren't jokin The message for the day was don't go to hard at the start and wear yourself out,but with the weather and the tracks being as good as they were this was a little hard to accomplish. I just went sick all day ,here a whoop there a whoop everywhere a whoop whoop and yes I did pay dearly but it was worth every moment I,m only just starting to walk normal again today A very big thankyou to johnny ,you have impecable taste in track choices as they were mighty fine To Sandrabob the support and hot beverages for the day was an absolute treasure To Shaz ,Coop and Hunter for your support as well To Garry and Darren for your fine tail dutys To the rest of the crew for the funny bits and the racin and the helpin I had an absolute pi55er of a day
