I arrived there around 2 pm on Friday the dirt road to Charnwood (our home for the weekend ) was very dry & dusty, I was hoping that the trails would hold some moisture, as it turned out the tracks were perfect, some were a little slippery just to make it more interesting
they ran one expert class, three intermediate groups, & one plodders class, the rides ran like clock work no problems that I know off.
When we got back from the ride while most are standing around drinking & bench racing, I headed off to the showers to avoid the rush, being in the building trade I know the shower closest to the hot water unit gets the best water supply
I had to smile to myself when I heard someone say these showers are poo house, mine was fine I said
I went to this event last year had a ball then, & this year was even better, no dust, if yous want a awesome weekend away on the bike & meet new ppl this event is a must, I'll be back again next year wouldn't miss this for all the tea in China.
