There was bugger all muddy stuff, but there was a fair bit of rain.

Tracks were open, sweeping and offered lots of grip - fun day.

At the pub, most seemed to go for the 'steak sandwich with the lot' which proved to be an excellent choice.

Peter almost got the publican offside by insisting he get access to the fire which was located 3m away - on the otherside of some pristine looking carpet that the Publican claimed was left looking worst for wear after the last bunch of dirt riders tracked mud across it.  Ultimately Peter won and we all get to dry out in front of the fire. (as stated there was bugger all mud and lots of rain, so we were all pretty clean)

From there - Peter whimped out stating he had to get home for dinner - Mum was waiting.  After getting the group georgraphically embarressed enroute home, we eventually made the cars before 3pm.

A good day was had by all and we went home.

The end.  Grin

Do we go right or do we go left ?? Go left!! and eventually end up in a few bog holes. Started to rain and we were doubting the wisdom of continuing. Thought this was going to be an easy day, but started off as something completely different. Pete said he'd change the tone and we headed off on nice flowing trails and we were into it. The next 2 hours were a cruise with everyone having a great time. Happy Days Smiley Then it changed again, the heavens opened and we all got wet as a shag. Never seen so many happy to get to lunch at the pub to re-assess. The publican didn't look too keen to let us in the door but was happy to take our money. The steak sangas were worth the money as was the fire we eventually got close to. A couple took the easy option and rode back with Freddo, whilst the rest battled on. The quick trip home saw us on a couple of (by now) slippery hills,(well done Marls on negotiating these. You can do it. Keep the faith)and back at the cars 5 minutes after the trailer brigade.Into the cars and on our way by 3.00pm (by the way only 6 degrees on the temp gauge in the car) Thanks to Pete for putting the ride on and to all who came for the company. See you all again soon.
