Title: Cruisy Ride Marysville . Sunday 9th December 2012
Post by: Phil Randall on December 10, 2012, 07,28:22 AM
Marysville has turned on its old fashioned charm and a wonderful place it is.  The mud and slime of previous rides had largely evaporated leaving behind the tell tale signs of frustrated 4 wheel drives and over enthusiastic dirt bikers.
We got away almost on time, there is always a late comer ??? or two.  A quick burst up the triangle to warm them all up and over to the other side to do a bit more exploring. There are so many tracks I have not  been on for some time.
We went up to the power lines at the top of the Mohican Plantation to check a nice track, but I think I need my chainsaw attachment on my next trip. They have done so much clearing of the plantations, there is now so much open road.
Lunch time comes around quickly, and Buxton won the jackpot. Nice tucker and fuel, but time for more exploring.  The track I had named Honey Pot seems to have been swallowed up, Ures Spur was delight to ride after our last attempt ended in bikes laying about like skittles in a bowling alley.  Yea Rock Road has been graded and a great hoot, however Bull Creek road posed a bit of a challenge due to some ruts and pretty big logs, though there is a torturous path around.  Then it was time to weave our way home, down Robbies and back through the triangle.
We have had a great day, one minor off, but other wise all smiles, but where were all the names on the list >:( >:(? there were only a few drops of rain Ken, you wouldn't have got your hair wet ;D. And Wendy, ::) did the nasty captain hook make you walk the plank  >:(?
Thanks one and all for your support,
Phil R.

G'Day Phil,

Glad you and yours had a good day out, I had a cruisy day in the shed doing some more work on the RZ with my hair in good shape and dry.

Unfortunately my shoulder is not very well at the moment so unfortunately no trail riding till next year.
