Great ride until this at 1.30pm "OUCH"

After going out last Monday with Seano for a Exploration Ride, we both realised that this Joint had some good potential for a Good day out on the Bikes, so Seano put up the ride and i cancelled my Tallarook Ride to help and join in the Fun.
Seano and i arrived around 6.45am at the golden Arches just after Ballan, for some Breeky and a Coffee then drove the 10 Min up to Spargo and set the AMTRA signs out on the Rd. Within Seconds Nathan rolled up and the rest weren't far behind him.

We left the Cars around 8.00am and did a few loops to the East. Zeb collected a Wallaby, John ranover a Fox and we all collected Butterflys, which were in the Thousands on the tracks.

We headed back to the Cars for a refuel and headed North in a Zig Zag Pattern. The tracks out there are in 100% condition and the visibility is unbelievable with tall trees and not much else.

There is no Hills or Major Ruts just leaf covered tracks which keep the dust down so you can pretty Much ride like you stole it.

John had a issue with a Loose Gear Lever, but Nathan and i managed to get to this well hidden bolt and Nip the Bastard Up.

45 Thousand tracks later we Ended back at the Cars for Lunch and another Refill, then back out around 1.00pm to do another 80 or so K's.

Sean was looking to try and get onto this Particular Track that is Well Marked and a Hoot to Ride. we took a track that went nowhere and that's where it all happened in a Big CRUNCH for me.
Some how i managed to side swipe a Tree Stump which i didn't see as it was Hidden with Bracken. I hit the deck like a bag of Spuds and with Nathan right behind me with a Birds Eye View was Quickly around to assist me.

I had the 15 Minutes of SUPER Pain but Freddo was Quick to offer me some Cocaine to help Ease the Pain.

Paul gave me the Freeride 350 for a nice easy ride back to the Cars. John T paul Milo and Marls Helped me pack up my Gear and get me on my way.

The rest continued the Ride and that's all Folks.

Thanks Seano for Wanting to Take a look at this Area, and finding a Gold Mine of Perfect Tracks.

It's great to be in a Club with People that bend over Backwards to Help when the Sh!t hits the Fan on a Ride.

I know if i had Busted a Leg, they would have Carried me out " Maybe" Grin
Thanks Everyone

Hope to be back there soon , carving those tracks up.

Pete

About time you shaved your legs!

That doesn't look good.  Hope nothing is too seriously damaged.

Was a top day and a GREAT place to ride, nothing hard just awesome flowing leaf littered tracks!
It was an eventfull day though.
Zeb trying to get intimate with a wallaby and going over the bars and hurting his shoulder, hope your ok Zeb.
John T taking on a fox cub, the cub lost and John helped remove some vermin from the forrest.
Peter riding into a tree stump right in front of me and going down like a bag of spuds, thanks for showing me where the tree stump was! Hope nothings broken and the pain has eased.
John's gear lever coming loose, at least it could be fixed and he kept riding not like that Berg that had to be towed!!
Seano getting attacked by that big dog, and yes i did slow down when i saw the dog chasing you and yes i was laughing my head off!!
Great place to ride, i will be back. Cool

Seano's Fuel Problem
I had the same issue with my Berg, when they come from the Factory they have a Fuel filter fitted in the Fuel intake, located in the throttle body. The dealers take them out as they get blocked, when they refitted the Fuel intake they sometimes put the o ring  in a bit outta shape.

I fixed mine in about 15 min, and that's the only issue i have had and hopefully likely to have.

Yeh but the suspension was 5/10  Grin Grin and the Starter no longer starts.
Won't matter soon, all those Euro will come from the same Factory, re-badged  Like a Holden Commodore and a Toyota lexen.

Great ride everyone. Flowing loamy tracks with not much dust , no rocks and hardly any ruts. The European bikes were amusing as they each found a different way to make themselves noticed. A bit like soccer players I suppose. Zeb and Peter, I hope you are feeling better tomorrow.
This area is only one hour from Melb and there were no other bikes...grouse.

Very true, but suspension sorted, needs to be set up like any bike, and kick starter works fine, last time i rode it didn't bother me kick starting it all day

After we dropped pete back at the cars ,six of us head back out and were on our way ,we hit the first trak ,but unfortunatly the smell of feul was over bearing for me.
I pulled up at the first intersection and we whipped the tank up to have a look, bugger cant fix it here so a tow was decided upon. Cry
travling back by dirt roads and past farm houses ,one famers dog decide he doesn't like visitors and chased me ,snapping at my heels for a good 100 meters or so. Shocked
After this we were soon back at the cars by 2:45 ,116.9 ks on the speedo.
Thankyou to Paul and Fred for tail duties ,muchly appreciated and to the rest of the gang for being guinnea pigs in my new area. Wink
A few wrong turns here and there but the more I get out there the better  my knowledge of the area will be.
I will try and get another one happening again, maybe inbetween the 12 hour and our HCR Grin

Zeby,I hope the sholder isn't to bad ,bloody wild life Cry
Petey That egg leg looks nasty ,hope its only a bruise and mends quick
Marls hope your cut finger isn't to bad and it heals quickly
