We couldn't have asked for a better day, clear blue sky,easy group, fourteen riders. I decided I would give the triangle a bit of a miss and look at some of the tracks I have not done for a while. There is a couple of more challenging loops behind the pub, and now that the mud has solidified a bit they were good fun. Whites track goes nowhere but it is a fast hoot for those who want it. Fisher creek track with the big bog hole is temporarily closed while they fix the bog hole and perhaps they will make us a new bridge. We wait in expectation.
We crossed the road to the bottom of the Narbathong plantations, looped around through the creek and had a go at Andersons Spur and Boundary Track. Not a good track in the wet, but other than a few logs to get over it was a fun experience.
The morning marched on and we were a long way from the cake shop, so I opted for the road house for lunch. Pies and burgers all round, but no petrol
. A couple of bikes were low on fuel and went back to the cars.
I havn't been the full length of Rouches Road for years, slippery in the wet, but again, perfect. Mind you I do seem to be leading from the rear ::)far too often

We wandered about a bit, Wattle Path Spur,Crotty Track, Devils Staircase and Ecks Rd to Spur Road. Lefty's bike seemed to be giving him a headache or two and when we had got to the bottom of Robbies Track we had lost him. It was getting late, James took Lefty down Black Range to Narbathong and the rest of us continued to the triangle and returned to the cars.
