Firstly I want to say a big thank you to the Rossi, Dexter, Phil, Trevor and Keith for their leading and tailmen duties today.
Special thanks to Justin and John for helping with the fuel drop and pick up, also to Colin and Steve for helping out on the hill.
Great work by the Marc to collect folks at the Longwarry BP and bring them up to the ride start location.
To ALL of the riders thank you for attending with your flawless machines, these made the ride run smooth.
The weather and tracks were ideal today and it was pure enjoyment to be out there with a big bunch of like minded people.
There were 35 riders of varying capabilities who looked like they enjoyed themselves, in the conditions and over the selected terrain. We covered 95 kilometers.

Once again thanks folks, rides are only as good as the people who attend!

Well done to Brad, Rossi & tailmen ! that was a great day out.

An excellent mix of Tracks in pretty much perfect condition, with a bit of everything...... nice loam, greasy clay, some rocks, good ups & downs.

Had a ball chasing Pete on the big Berg for a while.... (untill common sense prevailed !!!!)

I really,really,really,really,really enjoyed the day !!

 

10.5 outa 10 Bradley , what can i say except thanks for another excellent ride , great Job with Rossi running point duty good work Rossi and the tails all did a great job ( sorry boys dont know your names ) going for a ride as well as meeting some new faces and catching up with some old mates perfect >...>   

Thanks Dr Brad , great day as always ,  you can even manage perfect riding conditions ....... Even given the amount of riders  , the way that you originize the tail men & corner men ensures that the group maintains a consistent pace throughout the day. Just a quick warning for all riders, when chasing Zeb up a hill , make sure his fuel is on otherwise you'll end up on ya arse like I did ....

HUGE thank's Brad for once again delivering the goods & putting on a fantastic ride with a great mix of tracks & terrain. We were able to ride everything you & mother nature threw at us & guess what..not 1 off for the day  ;D for either of us. You were all, a great bunch of people to ride with & thanks heaps to all of the helpers on the day.

Thanks Brad for a Grouse ride, and thanks to the tailmen for doing their job so well. The 3x Cornerman system worked like a treat, and those UHF Radio's worked very well during the day, most notably for me was when Fred got a Flat, Marls could communicate with me and there was no need to back track and cause a head on. "OH yeah" Radio on rides are NO good!!! """""Yeh Right""" Also it's good to see lots of new members attending and being part of the AMTRA clan.
Grandpa (Steve) and i had a good time hooning around on some tracks together, and all i could hear was that Husky 150 zinging in my ears, "mate that thing got some go".

big thanks to brad for organising and leading the day,thanks also to rossi for secondary lead duties, didnt that work a treat! . big thnks to the tailmen also, sorry dont' know ya names. had a fun days riding with a bunch of top blokes, a mixture of track conditions and fantastic weather.  i went up today to recover my missing false tooth and the weather was crap, wind and heavy rain, so hats off to ya brad you picked the right day...
      oh yeah tooth back in gob found it where we had lunch .

Good to see everyone had a good time.

The radio's did work well and I was able to answer one of the waiting corners who also had a radio, with what was going on with the flat.

Not being spread out because of 3 persons to a corner (11 corners max at any time) means the lines of communication are not strung out, assists the radios as they are working shorter distances.

Someone left a 10L fuel can behind with a bit of fuel in it which I have. Please call me on 0428580900 to arrange its return.

What can I say but thanks to Brad, Rossi the tailmen and the rest of the crew on the ride. One of the best days in a while and whilst initially I thought Brad was trying to kill us with a 20Km ride pre first break - he didnt.

 ;D  Another fantastic Amtra ride, well organised, a lot of  help and useful tips. Thanks.
Each of the rides I've been on with Amtra have taught me so much and I am loving this sport, too bad I started so late in life, but shows you can teach an old dog new tricks.
What makes these rides great is the people (and being on a bike of course), I can't wait for the next ride.
I did put a small pin hole in my clutch cover, damn foot brake, but I should have that repaired pretty quick. Whatever it takes to get back out there, right.
