G'day all,
Conditions were perfect for our ride down the coast.
A dusting of rain the day before, overcast & mild temperatures greeted the riders that rolled up on the day. The long distance traveller award, goes to Neil, who shunted his awesome looking green steed, all the way from Kerang Smiley . He departed at 11.30pm on the Friday night to make it to the ride, goodonya Neil  Wink We hope it was worth the trip for you..
After a rider briefing by Frogman, our 'Pointer' of the ride lead us out...
The ride flowed smoothly throughout the morning; with our mate Sandra-Bob conquering her demons & making it down the 2 hills that had challenged her previously...Well Done Bob! I knew you could do it  Cheesy . Shaz & Annie rode extremely well & it was so good to have you along & ride with you all.
After lunch, we headed to Zeb's Track, for him to conquer his demons too  Roll Eyes We wanted to make sure he survived it this time round, so we had tied some pink ribbons round the old oak tree,& hung some streamers & plastic bike mudguards over the jump like an Erzberg/Red Bull type finish line..there is NO way he or anyone else would not see it this time...All good, he's survives it...not long after though, we pull up to see Zeb pushing his bike up on a log....he had to fix a flat tyre  Angry ... Zeb, this place is haunting you!
The rest of the ride went like clockwork & for the ones that did the 'Special Sections' from what I hear, you had a blast.
Here are some pics of the day, as usual....

Thanks to:
1. Rossie, Pointer Man all day
2. Johnny & Al, Morning Tailman Duties
3. Gary, Afternoon Ride Leader Level 2 Sections
4. Johnny & Pauly, Afternoon Tailman Duties
& everyone that helped on the day

Until the next ride.....
Cheers,
Marls & Freddo

Hey Marls and Freddo, A big thumbs up for the whole day, I had a great ride, and glad I made the trek down! Thanks to all involved, leaders to tailmen. The morning was nice and casual (it needed to be after my drive down!) having settled in, the afternoon was great, and entertaining with some slight carnage on a couple of climbs....although there is a saying "its only funny when it happens to someone else!" And thanks Zeb, for managing to ride "around" and not "over the top of" the klx while it was laid over in a "not so good" place! Grin Thanks again everyone for a great day!
cheers, Neal

I ve never seen someone in pain, yet still so wound up like a kid on red cordial to have made the down hill? Till the next one, Al

Hey all,
What a great day with a great bunch of people. I have never ridden down that way before and the travel was absolutely worth it. Those tight tracks with the berms were a highlight for me.
I cant wait to get back out there again.

Thanks a bunch Marls and Fred for organising the day and all those who were leader or following.

Cant wait to see the videos.  Grin

Cheers,
Mark

What a day! I was a bit nervous before I got there, I hadn't been on my bike for 7 weeks and haven't really been on it much before that!  As always Fred and Marls created a relaxed atmosphere, no pressure and just fun to be had.
There was a hill I did on the pre ride a while ago, I didn't like it then, but interestingly, when I wasn't expecting it, I went UP it! good idea to mix it up Freddo!  Paulie and I had an absolute ball. Thank you for organising. Thanks as usual to the tailmen and all those who gave me tips on the day, I reckon I managed to implement them in the arvo and I had a smooth, happy, enjoyable ride all afternoon. Thank you for the help, it does assist no end. Great to meet people and look forward to the next ride at Woodside.

hi all,,  again a big thankyou to Marls and Fredo for another fantastic woodside adventure, the deal you have with the weather gods is a darn site better than the deal you have with the flat tyre gods, hey Fred. Must comfess at this point though that I didnt complete my tailman duties on the afternoon leg as my berg decided it didnt like the back of the pack and overheated ,so to Paulie a big ups for taking sole tail duties. I had given my knee a bit of tweak on the pre-ride here the Sunday before and was thinking tailman was the place to be,but, sandy tracks just have to be ridden at a bit of pace, so to cool the berg down I did just that,I think it was just what the doctor ordered as my knee held out and is feeling much better, - dirtbike riding , dont you just love it!.
Once again thanks Marls and fredo, Rossi for riding point, Al and Paulie for tail am and pm, Gary clarke for leading in the pm also a thanks to everyone who turned up on the day and made the day what it was - - -bloody good fun!, bring on the next one I say.
