Hey Rob thanks for an awesome day out.
You chose good mix of tracks with nothing too hard for the whole group.
Good gloves waterproofs and warm gear are most recommended at this time of the year as we all found out
When we got soaked in the rain.
After Adams rear wheel flat we headed straight for the pub at woods point and dried the damp gear and warmed the freezing bodies and hands. We all had a good feed, fueled up and hit the trail for the afternoon loop.
The ride was about 150km  and we got back to the Big River campsite around 4:30

It is very recommended to go on one of Robs rides.

My body certainly let me know that i had a day on the trails.

Thanks Rob

Hi Rob,
Thanks for putting on a good ride. The steep and rocky terrain made for an interesting day especially due to the wet weather. Sorry to the guys for holding you up when I unfortunatly got a rear puncture. A big thanks to Jeff (tailman) for all your help.
See you on the next ride

A big thankyou to Rob and co for leading  Grin
And a big thankyou to jeff as well for tail duty all day Wink
To all those I splashed I,m realy sorry Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy not
Apart from the rain and the flat the tracks themselves were awsome and the new suspension preformed a treat(thanks chad) ,there was some skinny arse 4wd drive tracks that were a treat ,aswell as some open fat arse 4wd tracks that the throttle hand had a ball on.A feed of steak sandwich and chips for lunch warmed the belly for the trip home, yum yum.once we left the pub the trip home was all go with some more of the speedy stuff and one last technical skinny to top off the day and a really fast blat down the road back to the cars to get some warm clothes on and the heater in the car goin cos we were wet through to the bones
Cant wait for the next one

Sounds like you boys had a great time !!  I did not go because of the rain ... I hate the rain and hate being cold, so I stayed home with the heating on 22 deg.  I was thinking of you all out there ....  Tongue

I will get Rob over to type up his 'ride report'.  You will have to wait cos Rob is hopeless on a PC and types slower than ... umm slower than .. umm .. well he just types bloody slow !!!

 Cheers guys

I agree with all the previous comments. It was a great day with a mix of everything, hot on the skinny tracks and freezing on the open trails. It was also a good reminder to take a rain jacket this time of year as you just don't know what the day holds. Thanks Rob looking forward to catching up soon. Colin
