Strathbogie ride from big Al's kicked off at 9.30am with 6 riders. The first incident was Ken _obison taking a soil sample in Al's enduro loop on his property.I had asked Ken _obison what happened mate Ken replied"I lost the front end."I said gee new tyres & all, take note not to buy the same front tyre as ken.

From there into the bogies, the tracks were dry & dusty.Making our way into swanpool for lunch & refuel.Got lunch but no fuel, they had run out due to the extra long weekend trade.Al managed to buy some 25 lt's of the some guy on his way home.Who had also stopped for lunch.

From there back into bogies on way back to merton. We came across along rutted hill & Ken _obison proved that even at the age of 60 something,he can still get it up(the hill of course).

The whole group moved along very well with a total of 185 km's for the
day. Thanks for the bbq at the end Big Al.

Bike maintence issues were Ken's bike losing the rear brake push rod.
riders for the day were.

Ken's name seems to be missing the R,i guess will you have to ask ken to explain.

Yes thanks Al For the ride, it was a great day.
My observations were:-
Good to see Craig back on the bike, his form hasn't suffered for his time not riding.
Ken, I have the same front tyre; mine went round the corner ok!
Tafe is having too much fun on the new 450wr.
Best parts of the ride for me, Mt Lindsey, Lightening ridge and Moonee Moonee.

Al's doing this ride on the last weekend of the month for the next few months so keep an eye on the calendar, I'd call it a level 2 ride, the only thing to keep in mind is the total K's and that there is not a lot of big rests.

The big question, where is Ken's R?

I can recall the day Australia went to the dogs...
The day that I had to pay for sauce on my pie.
