Title: Blackwood Exploration Ride L2+ May Saturday 18th 2013
Post by: Peter r on May 19, 2013, 07,11:33 AM
Darren picked me up at 7 ish, we drove to Blackwood Pub with a Chuckers stop along the way and arrived at 8.25am with Seano waiting with the usual smile.

We found a camping area just down the Road from the Pub where we all got ready for a look around the Area.

With a quick look at the Map 9 adventurous riders headed in a N-E Direction to see if this would turnout to be another Gem of a Place to ride.

Within second me head a was turning, looking at possible tracks, and there seem to be a abundant to the left and ever the right.

Aaron had put a post and said " You'll be lucky to do 50 K's" We could of been there for days, the amount of tracks was unbelievable. We found some Narrow Trails, and from what the Man in the DSE 4wd said, there are plenty out there, we just needed to find them.

I think everyone had a Great day ": I know i did" and i'm sure i will be going there again soon.

I'm feeling a bit under the Weather so i might add a bit more detail tomorrow.

Thanks to :
Rod for doing Tailman Duties.
Tim for being the guinea pig.
Darren for busting a Radiator Hose.
Seano for being Sean.

Good on ya pete for putting it on, Blackwood has some serious potentiall to be able to rack up 150km day of mint singles and semi open following trails.
