Title: Re: kinglake seano style Post by: nathanstott on February 01, 2014, 10,50:48 PM Awesome ride Seano! There sure is some nice tracks out there. Thanks for putting it on.
Man was it dusty in the pack! With the dust and low sun it was incredibly hard to see at some points! That last hill was a ripper! Thanks to everyone who turned up to make it a great morning. Title: Re: kinglake seano style Post by: Alwr on February 01, 2014, 11,12:35 PM Cheers Seano for a great ride. As Nath said, the heat and dust were right up there. I took over tailman duties after Mark's flat tyre at around lunch time if we hadn't started at 6.30am. The tracks and links were great Seano and the day flowed well. The last few rutted hills even brought brought me undone after I took the wrong track selection. Cheers to Jeff for the assistance twice on that section. I felt bad that the day was cut short for me, but back at the car I could see that I wasn't the only one that had struggle with the heat :)

Think of the record number of clubman points the winner for the year would hold by the end! poo they probaly wouldn't even have to get on the bike or lead a ride for the year. ???

Despite the early morning sun and dust it was pretty good riding until about 10:00 when it just got progressively hotter. That last hill was a killer in the heat but overall a good fun day out. On a normal 20 degree day this ride would be brilliant. Maybe triple points should be awarded for this effort. Thanks especially to the team that helped me pull my bike out of the hole from hell. Only 200km on the clock and to see her upside down was heart wrenching!! Never mind not too much damage, just me with a sore knee but hardly a scratch on the bike. LUCKY!! Cheers until next time. Colin
