Onion and I headed up to Pete's Pleasure Palace on Saturday afternoon and arrived amongst thick fog, to find Pete harassing his neighbors.  He welcomed us inside and we had a few bevvys before heading off to the pub for dinner.  The pub was chokers, so it was a bit of a wait for food, but eventually it arrived, we ate and headed back to Pete's for a night cap.

Sunday morning, and the fog hadn't lifted!  And it was cold!.. We went out to the starting point, where Phil was already waiting for us.  Soon Greame (Sparks) arrived, and so too did Big Rob S.  quick briefing and we were on our way.  I was glad I put my jacket on, cos it was bloody chilly as we headed off, and being a fairly cruise ride, we didn't get too hot from doing stupid things!

The tracks were in good nick after recent rain, with no dust to speak of.  greame settled in well for his first AMTRA ride, and Phil bought up he rear.  We made our way over to Kevington for lunch, then back to Jamison for fuel, before heading back past The Kevvy on our way to Moonlight.  This track is always good fun, although I don't remember there being so many rocks!  Some sections were quite greasy where 4WDs had gone up and down, but everyone got through without any hassles.  Infact the whole ride was rather event-less.

Sitting atop Mt Terrible, we noted it was getting very cool again and starting to get dark, so we hightailed it back to the cars, arriving around 5:00 with 160 ks on the clock.

As always, a good day out with Pete.  Thanks to Phil for tail duties, and welcome to Sparks.

Onion and I stayed with Pete again on Sunday night and partook in another pub feed and several fizzy, adult refreshments.  It made for a very relaxing ride weekend.
