About 20 riders turned up for an 0830 start. Started as one group, but an attack on a hill quickly split the group into 2, with Dave leading the HTFU crew and MatR leading the rest.

At lunch, we had a few riders go home, and a few more turn up, including a surprise visit from Charlie who dislocated his shoulder not 1 km from the Ridge road Car Park last month. Good to see him up and about.

MatR led the afternoon ride, and took us on some great trails including soilpit and the bogholes. Somewhere along the way, my numberplate decided to go AWOL, so if anybody finds a plate beginning with HX, please let me know.

We did have one injury for the day with a sprained ankle, could have been much worse, but thank god it was not.

Whilst doing loops, the dirtbike gods were laughing at us and displayed their power for all to see by giving 3 of us rear flats in quick succession.

At about 1700, we returned to the carpark, and about 9 of us decided to go for one last blast. Dave lead with MatR bringing up the rear. Dave led us on some great single, and then the heavens decided to open in biblical proportions.

A Fantastic day topped off by a flat tyre in my landrover on the way home (yes, it was pissing down, thanks for asking)

Here is a vid of the Dave led morning session.

Hopefully can find the footage of the arvo session, and will post soon

Great footage rocks, mud and rain; makes me want to head out now! I haven't heard those songs since I was a kid and had the first two of them on 45's that I played as we had no TV just a radio and record player. What ever happened to 3XY?
