We started at the New Trail Bike Visitors Area on Main Mountain Rd, which looks good but not finished yet, i decided to drive in from Wondong but it would of been Quicker to go in from the Hume Hwy, it's only about 10 min drive in from the Hwy so it's easy to get to and find.
Anyway we took of around 10.30 ish and headed to Strath Creek General store for lunch which is around 25 klm from the car, had something to Eat n Drink then headed back into the bush for some Action. We found a couple of good narrow track and ended up nearly lost in the creek, we couldn't find a way out so we took another track and presto, we were out. This track was what i call a HTFU track, "i was Rooted from too much technical tree jumping and Balancing Acts" but it was FUN and i need to do more of this type of riding to keep my skill level on the up.
After the HTFU Track (4klm & 1hr)we took some easy stuff back to the Cars and got the hell outta there.
Mt Dissapointment will never be the same after the fires, but it's still has some fabulous riding areas and i will be putting on heaps of rides in the Future.

Some Wog.....charming!

It was a hoot, but with seasonal road closeures, and DSE track closures(while they asses the viability/safety of the track) there were limited trails to ride.

But still, no dust, no rain and minimal slip-slide, it was all good.
