Eildon June 10th
Ride Report by Dave Smith

Well we started off at 6:00am when we hoped into the car the temp gauge was on 4deg
We had a stop on the way to meet up with a few other guys.
Then up the black spur and on to Eildon where the temp gauge read 0deg
As we had never been to this spot before we thought we got a bit lost but just hadn’t been far enough down the road.
So if you are going on wades ride its about 20min down the windy section after the turn off.
Once there we quickly geared up (extra jackets this time)
There was a good array of bikes peter even brang his rmx
We had a pretty smooth start to the day some good tracks nice greasy hills
All in all a great morning to run in my new piston and rings.
About lunch time we did a bit of exploring and found a few narrow tracks with
Trees down so we had to turn around, But its always good to brush up on those log crossings.
There was quite a few nice sections where you could just fish tale the bike all the way round the corner and then slide it into the next corner slightly crossed up wind on the throttle and fill the guy behind you full of mud… lol
Come on we all enjoy it
After some great riding it was back to the cars for lunch
We did about 92km before lunch
Wade brought his barby and we had snags and burgers.

After a late lunch most of the troops went home.
We refueled the bikes and headed back out for a second loop
With the pack turned up by about 50% the mud was flying and so was all
Till I decided to go a bit too fast down a hill and did the old one tyre in one rut and one in another after a slide a tree stopped my decent, with a brush off all was good and we were riding again.
I think we did about 25km for the loop, it made the day
Thanks for the great ride !!!!!
