Had a great day, A bit cold to start with everyone had their jackets on except me, the only time I felt the cold was when we rode the open road stuff, when we hit the trails I soon warmed up
did I tell ya how good the Kato 300 is, awesome bike
Mat did a great job leading us around Neerim, I heard he only had one off for the day
I had to put that in mate
it was quite busy on the trails with bikes & 4x4's I've never seen the unloading area so full, some had to park on the road side.
Mat was supposed to take us on some easy tracks for us old farts
which he did, just for interest he also threw in some tracks with the famous Neerim bog holes, Fred had a swim in one of them
further along there was a bit of a hold up, all I could see looking past 3 or 4 riders in front of me & the bushes & trees was my son lifting a bike up, I thought that he had come off & I was also worried that he might do his back in lifting the bike up, as it turned out he was helping some one else I couldn't see who it was, he was on hand a couple of times that I saw, good on ya Son
I swapped bikes with him for the last 15 minutes of the ride,me now on the Yamaha 250 nice bike to ride but no were near the power of the Kato 300, my Son said that he had forgotten how good the 2 strokes are, if he was to buy a dirt bike again, he would buy a smoker for sure.
As I said before I had a great day with a great bunch of blokes & my Son being there was extra special.
Thanks Mat for leading & Bill for the sweep.
