Ride list

The aim was to take out a group totaling 11 but end up with 2 last minute beggars desperate for a ride so along the came giving us a total of 1 riders.
The weather was perfect and thanks to the rain over the last couple of days very little dust and a few bog holes to work our way around.
We started off by taking Brad's out of the car park rough track to warm them all up and then up Lizzard's for a loop down Sawdust.
First regroup then along and up Billstone and onto memory and across the plantation to Beards tk.
After another regroup we found our way to Paris and then to Young Tk for one of my favorite loops down and up a few of the steepest climbs in the area around Hard Up and back onto Young Tk for another rest and regroup.
We then headed down Beards once again to Stoll Rd from which we worked our way back up to the Latrobe River Rd Via Htree were every one enjoyed the series of Triple erosion mounds one after the other. We then headed of to find some disused over grown narrow trails to finish the day of working our way back to Memory lane and then back down Sawdust and Back to the Latrobe River Rd to go back up Brads opening track in reverse which put a great aspect on this track. All in all everyone seamed to enjoy them self's with a few have some off's but no big injuries and we managed around 70klm's for 3.5 hrs.
We packed up and headed of to the Neerim Sth Pub for a great Lunch and some serious bench racing were we were also met by Mat R who had road down on his road bike for lunch .
Thanks to all who came along and look forward to doing it all again in the next few weeks. Will.
P.S Anyone who wants to add to this report please feel free to go a head including any ideas on how we can improve on the ride.
Can't wait to see the videos from the ride they should be good.

Thanks Will for a great day out, great choice of tracks & terrain & probably one of the most stress-free rides i've been on. Good riding with no dust & only had one off, that first m.f. rutted hill that I couldn't quite make to the top  . Was a good bunch to ride with & enjoyed the bench racing at the pub. Bring on the next ride... Fred p.s. Marls cleaned the house really good  |
