What an awesome day, perfect riding conditions with not a lot of dust and the sun shining all day long. Great bunch of riders and managed to find a lot of new tracks especially quiet a few overgrown 4wd tracks which managed to bring a few of us 2 grief including myself doing a superman over the bars thanks to 2 very close together trees grabbing hold of the RH bark buster but provided me with a nice soft landing into the ferns.

We had 4 retirements @ lunch. Then one during the afternoon ride due to cramping.

Zeke turned out on a Brand new Berg570 and managed to control his right wrist all day whilst he ran it in.
Justin what can I say first AMTRA ride and mate you seem to handle it with out much trouble at all and was up my rear most of the day.
Frankie managed to get a flat tyre on the Bavarian Monster Works in the morning which slowed us a bit but were soon all back together tackling the ruts and hills of Neerin.
Adam A non member came along with his recent purchase a KTM 450 which resembled my 525 when I first got it with steam coming out from every gap around the tank due to a lack of a thermo fan. Every one kept talking about dim sims again for some reason, maybe we should be known as the Dim Sim club.
By the end of the day Sasha wished he had bought a bike with a little red starter button, in true fashion the XR did not want to start after putting on the ground for a rest.
We even managed to get Rowen to crack a sweat on a couple of the trails but you must ask him next time you see him about his off.
Brad and Dennis  had a great day with Dennis kissing the Neerim ground also. Ted had a great morning ride and is looking forward to next months old farts Pubman.
Scotty was is usual self running rings around most of us and helping out when ever required.
Dustin finely got a handle on the new bike had a top day and was the one looking the most buggered at the Pub crawl.
Mat, well what can you say Mat was Mat fast go anywhere , helpful and the entertainment for most of us as usual.
Keith, Dean, Simon and David were the quiet ones and stayed to themself's most of the day.
It was great to see Marc out on his bike even if it was just for the morning but I did hear him get called Serge when he announced that he was going home at lunch time.
Ron rang the neck out of the TTR all day and was also looking a little bit worn out by the end but perked up on the Pub crawl.
Karl had a great day on the bike once again and managed to stay out of trouble.
Luke, what do you say about Luke, Fast and Rides like a nut job at times, crashes like a nut job at times, but owe so much fun to be around.
Loves his camera and catching people out with it, most will be looking forward to the footage.

We managed around 107klms for the day with most returning 2 the cars on reserve with smiles from ear 2 ear.
Nine of us set of 2 the pub for some refreshments and some tucker but Justin had to split for home before tucker as the Home office sent him some new order's.
The rest of us ending up having to do a pub crawl as when Luke inquired about 5.40 about getting into the Bistro to order our dinner he was told that there were forty people in front of us first so My self, Rossi, Ron, Rowen, Frankie, Luke, Dustin and Mat then headed to the Robin Hood hotel for more refreshments and a counter meal and more bench racing and leaving the Pub around 7.30 and 4 me only a 15min drive 2 home but much longer 4 the rest.

All in all I think nearly all had a great day out and look forward 2 doing it again soon.
If any of my fellow riders want to add to this post please fell free to do so and especially any stories I missed.

A big thanks must go 2 the 2 most important people of the day Zeke and Rossi for there excellent Tailman duties because with out Tailmen we can not go riding, Thank you very much guys.

Sounds like you all had a good day out.  Very brave though, with only 6 sleeps till the HCR!

It was great to see Marc out on his bike even if it was just for the morning but I did hear him get called Serge when he announced that he was going home at lunch time.

Why does everyone pick on the short, dark, swarthy guy of Mediteranean extraction?

 Sad

Maybe you should have some Training on how to avoid things like ferns and the Ground.

Ps: John and I have Radiator cuts on our arms, feels like someone branded me.

Thanks for organinising the day Will, had a fantastic day again and was completely stuffed when i got home..
dont know why but didnt feel like i could get it together yesterday..felt like a gumby for the most part of it and my frustration levels were hitting extreme by the end of the day as my beloved bike decided to be a prick to start yesterday and in my gumby state i was stalling it left right and centre... but hey, crap happens and i still enjoyed the day!!

i personally vote that if we do the meal bit again we go with the Robin Hood, its a little bit further from the car park (but closer to home!) but i still cant get over the Neerim Sth pub telling a group of ten with a booking that "there are 40 odd people in front of you plus the local footy club is coming up"... FRICKEN MORONS - it was the 3rd booking in approx 6 weeks that will had made with potentially more to come and now they've lost us.......

Will,

thanks for the ride had a good time, enjoyed everyone's company and will be definately back for more. Sorry about the quick departure from the pub. The boss allowed some of our so called friends to invite themselves to dinner at our house (while we were out riding). The so called friends proceeded to comment how dinner had started getting cold while they were waiting for me. I decided not to tell them that I stopped to pressure wash my bike and buy some beer.
