Thanks to Brad I was having a nother great ride untill about 11:30, when standing on the pegs going along a nice and easy up hill I flipped the cr at a decent speed, ending up on the ground with my left thumb looking a bit different to normal.
Went home via the hospital, a couple of x rays later the verdict was 1 x dislocated left thumb, after a few pain killers my thumb was pulled back in to place "ouch".
Many thanks to all the people that stopped to help out.

To Brad and all the boys thanks for a great introduction to Amtra, had a great day and pushed myself further than I have before, never done so many hills and first river crossing (Second one didn't get completed). But one big thing out of the weekend is:
"I now know how to pull apart my bike and what it takes to get it going after a drowning" and that there may be little water in the Engine Oil but check the Gear Box Oil (400Ml to much and the color of Milk)
P.S The water was refreshing

Thanks for another great ride. Will have to remember some gaterade for my drink next time to help with cramps. (mental note to self: maybe not so much bourban the night before might help too  ..) will also try to come on more rides so that I can gain some rider fitness so I dont hold the blokes up on the L2 rides.I only had 1 off so that was a good thing I guess except for the fact that when I looked up there was Lukes bloody helmet camera looking straight at me.... |
