We had another awesome day at JohnT's Daylesford kids day.

Started the day a little later then usual, got a free muffin from a Maccas stuff up, and was on the bike by 10am!

The trails were slippery (duck poo slippery) in the morning, and dried out by the arvo. There was some primo loamy parts followed by some of the best ST I've ridden in ages!

I was stoked that I did every hill and obstacle! Ive just had my suspension sorted out by Chads and not only can I now touch the ground, the front end is heaps more stable and really plush.

Best experience for me on the day was having a go on the trials bike. And trying out a Clake. Might have to think about getting me one of them!

Thanks again to JohnT - that coonara in the shed is the best thing since sliced bread on a cold day!

Thanks also to the chefs on the day! Awesome spread Smiley

Cheers and see u at the next one,

Nic and Paul

Thanks for another great day John. weather was poo, but the punters still came. Shaz, Coop and myself had a great time as always. Thanks to uncle Seano for looking after Coop to let me help shaz get used to her new ride. Really enjoyed getting out on a few loops as well which i didnt plan to do. Coop rode all day and proubly should have fallen asleep on the way home, if he would have shut up long enough to take a breath. Shaz and did laugh on the way home when he said "he looked after a new boy Jamie and rode with him and led him around" and asked "if that made him an Amtra ride leader like dad?" Great to see some new faces and some old faces but first timers to John's.
Cheers from Al, Shaz and Coop's

Hello!!!

After not riding for the last couple of months due to wet weather, lack of interest and a sore Lower Back, i decided to head up to Daylesford for a easy cruise around the Motocross track and out into the Adjacent Forest to Loosen up the Bones and get the Blood pumping at Break Neck Speeds.

I invited Owen Hutchinson from Clake to come and experience the AMTRA way, and show people how his Product can make your riding a bit easier.

I thought ide do the right thing and wait for Owen to turn up and introduce him to the AMTRA Clan, so with that out the way he was onto Modifying Rossco's Clake as he was having a couple of issues with it. He wasn't sure about the Setup he had, so he took my 570 "With the Clake Fitted" out for a bit of a test to comparer it to his Husky 310 set up. He came back and said " MAKE IT LIKE THIS ONE OWEN", Owen did some Magic and transformed Rossco's bike into a 570 " Only Joking" You can't Make a Husky into a Berg "           That's like trying to make Strawberry Jam out of Pig Sh!t".   Grin Grin.

Anyway with all Mods complete i said to Owen, come out for a quick loop about 15 min return trip. He too is suffering from a Sore back and was a bit 50/50 on going out.
Rossco, Mark Clark, Owen and i took of from the property for a easy loop. " YEH RIGHT"  I heard Owen was a bit of a Gun, so i thought ide see how much Gun he had in Him.
I Quickly Regained my Lost riding Skills and blasted off like i was on fire, i got to the First Corner in Break Neck time, stopped to see where Owen was, and YEP he was right Up my Ass the Whole time." Looks like i'm not gunna Shake him off. We rode together to each corner and Chatted about how old we are getting, and how we should be slowing down to avoid those get offs. Rosco and Mark rode as a pair and we waited for them at each corner like Gentlemen do.
I think i did about 4 loops with a few guys during the Day, and the Tracks seem to only get better and better.

The Weather was raining On n off all morning, but everyone seemed happy.

Thanks to Dave "Johns Dad", and John for setting up this Fun Day.
Darren Lynch and Seano for looking after the food n Drink Situation.
Serge for attending and Cooking as well.

All the Kids went wild on the Kiddy Loop.

There seemed to be a few new faces around.

The Coooonaarraaaa Heater that was saved from a house Demolish, is working a treat in the Shed.

I reckon we should put up another shed and put a portable Spa in it, and heat the water with the Coooonaarrraaaa!!!
Shuff Riding, sit in the SPA all day sipping on Wild Turkeys.

I had a great day.

Great pics Daz. All Nayt needs in the last shot is a red mohawk?

Owen
Thanks for taking the time with the kids as Darren said, Coop's reckons a trials bike is what he wants next so he can go and ride with Angus.
