Wiggy, fred, marls and myself met at the stockyard bar carpark 9am . Wiggy marls and i geared up only to find fred still getting ready (to busy yackin) , so by 10am were ready to go , hang on,fred left his tool belt at home . C mon Fred , wiggy and i have tools lets go.We headed down a track that took us to a bridge. Cross the bridge and into mormon town track , long up hill track not to steep . One section in particular very greasy with marls needing a little assistance. At the intersection of mormon and britannia Wiggy let me off the the leash down the rest of mormons and I had a blast, ye ha .Left down binns rd took us to army , a little way into army we got to intersection of army and fultons creeck trk ,we left marls on corner duty while the three of us did a loop of these tracks . Steep but not too steep and a litle rocky but not unbarable , with lots of erosion mounds too get a little air these tracks are fast and great fun. Coming down fultons i decided to look back to see how Wiggy and Fred were travlin and my husky decided it was tired an had a lay down,so up b4 anyone could see and onward down ,we went ,passing a few 4wd on the way. WE met back up with Marls and headed back to binns rd .Fred and Marls head to Walhalla via road while Wiggy and I went to deep creek no 5 then no 2 ,into gladstones around into britannia and down into Walhalla for lunch with Fred and Marls . With lunch done Wiggy took us around Walhalla for some sightseeing , remnances of old copper mines of yesteryear and the likes . Wiggy's wealth of knowledge on the area is outstanding , I highly recommend if you get a chance to ride the area with him , do it . Back through Walhalla into brittania onto mormons (watchout for that choppy muddy bit ) across the bridge back up the track into stockyard bar carpark . Packed up ,with 102 klms on the clock ,Freds shout for a beer and headed home around 6pm . A very big thankyou to rideleader WIGGY , tailman FRED , gunrider MARLS , I had an absolute pisser of a day .

Hi All,
Big thanks to Wiggy for putting on his last minute ride from Rawson to Walhalla. After returning from the big wet at Abbeyard late on Sunday night & still keen for a ride, a cruise through the hills of Walhalla sounded like just what we needed. Like Seano said already, a great day out with only a few spots of drizzle and plenty of up & downhills & clay mud baths  Huh We had a great day & look forward to riding the area again soon.
Here are some pics of the day.
Cheers,
Marls & Freddo

ps  Seano, don't try & fluff over that Army track loop Roll Eyes...Just because your skill levels have increased 10 fold & it was easier for you ...i'll leave that to your interpretation  Wink   Lips sealed   lucky Marls didn't do it, we'd still be there Grin...fred
