what a ripper day for a ride..had a great day on the trails.met quiet a few new members today and we all had a great time. more 2baggers than 4stroke mashers.

started out with 20 i think . even tho there wasnt any rain it was still quiet the slippy burgandy red clay.it caught you un awares but made for some good laughs..

we managed 70.6 ks in the morning and that was enough for us long drivers, but wade and the gang can fill you in on the arvo session..ive got heaps of footage but nuthing realy to inspiring to edit straight away.ill go thru it over the next few nights and chuck somthing together.

great ride wade cheers..kinda felt weird out there without you phil, we was thinking of you..  Smiley

As the Ratman said we did 70km for our morning loop, a bit more than the 40km I planned but the group moved along well around the Triangle area and without any incidents making for a great ride. This being enough for most riders on the day. Seven of us did a 40km afternoon loop over on the Narbethong side and again no hold ups. Mark, Phil on the Gas Gas and Myself did a short ride up strictland spur to round out 170km day. Hope all those riding with amtra for the first time enjoyed their day come back again if you did and try a another amtra ride.
Thanks Mark for your patient tailmaning all day.

Thanks for putting on the ride Wade..There was bit of a mix of riding conditions. The open trails were perfect with just some slight dust, but under the tree canopy what looked like perfect trails could be decieving.I noticed a few back wheels going sideways, including my own. There was also some bog holes thrown in which always goes down well with me!
To the non AMTRA members on the ride..Hope you had a good time and come back for more!
Hey Wade..Did you find out who the other riders were with an AMTRA jersey in the lead?

Yeah I forgotten about that! As Milktoast pointed out a group of four ride straight past us while we were regrouping in the triangle, the lead rider had an amtra jersy some of us waved to them but not even a nod in return Huh
