Recognise many of the tracks and techniques crossing the river were faultless: You all took the lowest point near the rapids. If the bike cut out it was pushed out rather than try to restart in the river. People waded in to assist as required You went fast enough to have control and momentum but slow enough to feel the river bed and rocks The second half seems harder and is where riders need to focus not the entry. Also the ride leader (me) stalled it on the rock ledge around the corner and slid backwards 5M before dropping it but nailed it second go, ye ha! Title: Re: Went for a ride on friday..
