What year is it? If you have a pre 05 you are stuck with the goofy stainless steel pipe. I just picked up a o5 alloy stock pipe of ebay for $50 and put a TK Pipes insert in the tip. If you have a later model just buy the insert and off you go.  Yamaha also sell a GYT one. Stock pipe with the less restrictive tip works well. Most 250 4T riders that need more power really need to learn how to rev them more as they have plenty of power, its just getting used to riding them. If after all it still feels underpowered trade it in on a 450 or a 2 stroke 300. Cheaper than spending money on mods. If you want me to show you how to ride a 250 4T let me know Grin
