Took a mates 2010, 310 for a blat on the weekend and what an eye opener that was.  Coming off the CRF450r and getting on the 310 was was like 2 different planets.  The 310 didn't have the explosive power of the 450 but it still made more than enough to motor along at a fair clip and it was much easier to climb hills without every little throttle movement trying to loft the front wheel over my head.

It was incredibly easy to ride fast (fast for me anyway) and with the soft suspension not even remotely tiring compared to the 450.  If the purchase price wasn't worth 3 of my current ride I'd have one tomorrow.

Hi Brad ,

Was out at First Class ( No 1 Husky dealer in Lillydale) this afternoon to pick up some supplies for my bike and had a chat with Tony the sales guy out their (ripper bloke ) I think nathan buys all his bikes from Tony as well. I mentioned that somone from the club was looking at a 310 and he reckons that the 2010 stock is all gone NOT ONE LEFT IN THE COUNTRY  and the demand is extremley strong already for the 2011 model via pre orders ....  Looks like if thats the way you choose to go you may have some difficulty getting your hands on one but also says something postive about the build quality and performance. Bit like the new Berg two bangers try and get one  !!
