Hi everyone,

Read with interest all of the recent comments on the 310. I a seriously looking at buying one as I want a registered bike now that my mates are into trail riding more and more. Currently I have  450R and still ride some mx tracks here on open days. The 2 bikes are similar weights but how do you reckon the Husky will go as a dual purpose bike?

Thanks

Thankfully I had a short stint on Nathans TE310 2011 on the weekend and wow what that engine compared to my WR250 2nd and 3rd on hill no issue lots of power. More engine breaking with a little more engine vibration noticeable compared to the super smooth WR.
It made my 250 seem like a toy compared with the TE310's all round engine grunt (in 250 terms) and ride ability. Its funny you only notice whats different and take for granted all of the great capabilities which are the same. Such as big things like handling and weight. Truly a great bike bet it becomes heaps popular even more than the 350's and 390's in the mid range sizing.

After spending the day on the 2011 TE310 all i can say is WOW!! what a bike. The upgrades for 2011 have really improved the bike, that motor may be small but it packs quite a punch! The changes made to the frame by factory Husqvarna rider Antione Meo have improved what was an already excellent handling bike. It's stable at speed and sure footed when the going gets technical and you only have to think about turning and you've changed direction. With the larger fuel tank i think i hit reserve at 95 k's.
Anyone in the market for new bike would be foolish not to have the TE310 on their list of bikes to test ride
