Due to the numbers of fires burning from the heatwave it may pay to check that the roads to ride area's and the ride area itself are safe. Found the below link which is a good summary for Victoria. http://www.dse.vic.gov.au/DSE/nrenfoe.nsf/LinkView/519C51D981DAE41FCA257257000A5163DC25C965BDA0CAF5CA2573B400013504 If you hold the cursor over the fire on the map it gives you basic information on the area and fire.
