G'day

After doing a organised trail ride for 4 days of Baja last year one of the guys has asked me to race it with him this year. An offer that I couldn't refuse considering him he has done it before and has the bike good to go.
Anyway I was just wondering if anyone has done any events overseas and what insurance company they used as most wont insure for motorcycle racing. MA were not much help as its not an FIM event.
Finally, as I am by no means a pro, just a keen trailrider in the right place at the right time I am seeking any form of assistance I can. If anyone knows anyone of or would be able to provide to provide any sponsorship they would be well represented on both the bike and riding gear as well as  acknowledgement in an article  in an Aussie mag.
