Title: Fuel quantity needed for Simpson Desert crossing??
Post by: Len R on February 07, 2011, 01,04:59 PM
Has anyone crossed the Simpson Desert please?  Does anybody have an idea how much fuel you would need for a DRZ400? I know there are some variables but I'm looking for a starting point and some good advice.   ??? Thx

Len,  There are some professional tour across the Simpson.
      Trapp tours,< www.amcr.com.au >
      Bike round oz, < www.biketours.com.au >
Probably a wealth of information, good luck, but I am not coming. Well not at present at least.
