Where I want to be...

« on: February 23, 2008, 10,01:37 AM »

So we all know that AMTRA.com is you favourite website Wink What other sites do you visit that other members may find interesting.

One of mine for example that caters to my interest in cars is  http://www.carjunkieforums.com
A site started up by David Freiburger, former editorial director of US car magazines Hot Rod, Car Craft etc.
He's left the world of real paper Magazines and gone into the online more interactive format of online information.

Another one is http://www.heavens-above.com
Where you put in your location and it tells you what time and where satellites will pass overhead.

My daily sites to visit are the AMTRA web site first then AULRO and Outerlimits (both 4wd sites), autospeed and occasionanaly Eat My Dirt and Netrider. The 4wd Monthly forum is ok as well but too slow.
Ebay is also almost a daily visit looking for bargains although they seem to be getting harder to find as more retailers seem to be setting up shops.
Overall I find a far wider range of discussions on the car/4wd forums than the bike forums probably due to the much larger numbers of people on them.

Sorry,

I just looked at Robbo's new 'avatar'.  Is that him, on a bike?

When was the last time you saw Robbo on a bike?

Other web-sites...I visit a few screen-print industry sites, but I also go to lyricfreaks to check out lyrics of songs that I can't quite make out when I hear them.  I also check out stuff on youtube, especially old music clips.

Yes,
It is Canberra. The runway looks a little short for that plane.
