Thought i would try something new to improve my riding while standing, so i got a set of Steg Pegs. Not sure if they will work for me, but if i don't try them, i won't know. So they're on and ready for testing on the HCR. I will write up test results next week. http://www.stegpegz.com.au/

Does this mean if I fit a set to my bike I will not only need to stand but I have to have my legs in the correct position as well???

Darren, if Pete was a true mate he would give you one peg to see if you reckon it helps. Pete's legs are always over the bars? Al

Steg Peg Test ReportSteg pegs have been around for a year or so, so i decided to give them a go on the Fe570 small Bore. The build quality is spot on and the fixing are all stainless, they're made of Aluminium and have rubber rings just like skateboard wheel but thinner, i had no problem with fitting them as they are made bike specific, there is an adjustment slot so you can easily move them back or forward to suit you riding position. On the Job!! As i took off "sitting" i couldn't even notice they were even there, it's only when you stand they come into play, straight away i felt them locking into the back of my boot and as you accelerate you can notice that you have less weight on your arms reducing Arm Pump. Going up hills was unbelievable, i could power on and not get thrown back onto the seat. These thing are the best thing since Coloured Jocks and if you can afford a set go out and buy some, you'll never look back. Retail Price is around $150 and you can buy spare rollers for around $45 a Set. Give them a go and see for yourself how easy you can accelerate and climb hills with more confidence. http://www.stegpegz.com.au/

That was a serious question Pee-air. Do they stop you getting your weight back over the rear. And no, that's not some kind of sexual innuendo.

So it's just that neoprene ring that you push your boot side into to stop them rotating back?
