I went to a couple of meetings up there with the DSE about this. A number of people from AMTRA were invited and Peter and I chose to turn up.

Unfortunately the DSE plan to, and have already closed a number of tracks in the area. With the rebuilding we can only hope they make bike unloading a priority as well.

Some pics of the Mt. Disappointment un-loading area.

The construction of the Trail Bike Visitor Area in Mt. Diss is now completed. This is the first of the recreation sites to be constructed in Mt. Diss following the '09 fires. I have attached a few photos of the site.

There are some minor works to be completed at the TBVA site , they include
•   Installation of Information Board and Map
•   Installation of Reduce Noise Signs and traffic advisory signs
•   Trail Bike Riding Route (road opening will determine installation of this)

Following the completion of the above and the forest road re-opening program, we anticipate to have an official opening of the site.

The first ride back into Mt Dissa since the fires, stay tuned for information in the next few Weeks.
This could be a L2++--xxClubman - 2.5=???
I will be putting on a pre ride so if your interested, PM me. Nothing like riding in ya Backyard.
