Guys, the following note is from Auscamp (Charnwood) in the Strathbogies where we held the HCR in 2007. Idiots like that give us a bad name. Please spread the word that that type of behaviour is unacceptable.

Ian

G’Day Ken

I hope you and the AMTRA guys are well. We certainly missed you this year and want to let you know that we would be happy to have you and any of the AMTRA crew back.

I am hoping you can help me with a little problem we had sometime over the past two weeks.

We had a couple of trail riders visit Charnwood when we were not there. We know that this happens from time to time but in most cases there are no problems. This time the riders broke into our shed stole some petrol and stuff plus painted graffiti on the shed wall. They also made a point of leaving tyre marks around the place.

We informed the police who took some items to fingerprint and they took photos of the damage. (I do not think they will have much success)

Is it possible for you to help us get the word out that this is the type of behaviour that will get bikes shut out of the area. Of course if we could find out who they were would be even better but that is a real long shot.

Please keep well

I think we should contact John and say we are sorry this has happened and that we will do what we can.
He knows that not all of us are ratbags!

I can recall the day Australia went to the dogs...
The day that I had to pay for sauce on my pie.
