Title: sprung thief's this morning Post by: jarrod k on January 12, 2011, 06,55:00 AM 5:05am open garage today started my ute.down the road was a kia sportage on a nature strip.they saw me and backed out of my court and drove off down the road i didnt think anything of it as new people have moved in down there.went back in my garage then heard a thumpstar start up around the corner go flat out for about 30 sec and then killed the power.
straight away i thought thats been stolen, jumped in my ute went for a look. come across two guys loading it in the back of the kia that had been parked in my street a few mins ago. they saw me jumped in the car a took off i gave chase 1st a helmet fell out the back as the didnt have time to close the rear tailgate, went over the kerb to avoid me around the corner and a plasma tv fell out and smashed on the road.over the round about and kept going thats when i lost them as i slowed down for the speed humps and round abouts.didnt want to break my ute. went back to where the helmet fell out got it and where they were loading up the bike and there was another helmet on the ground.rang the cops and there was no rush all i got was bring the helmets in thanks. went to work got rained off,so on my way home took the helmets up to the cop shop.girl there took my details and didnt realy care,i asked if they new which house had been broken into she said no. i had a drive around my area and found the house, plain as day garage half opened side gate half open stuff laying on the drive.rang the cops told them and got i'll see if i can get a van to go by later thanks. think to myself whats the point of coppers dont bust anyone except for us doing 5ks over the limit. I'm sure the cops know what they are doing, and what they know they can do after the fact. Were you able to get the rego plate of the Kia? Thanx for you efforts. Title: Re: sprung thief's this morning Post by: jarrod k on January 12, 2011, 08,09:47 AM well i went past and had a look at the house that was robbed.and the cops were there,i stoped and had a chat with them turns out it was CHANGE OF SHIFT when i rang..lol.
pricks took tvs dirt bikes tools and a nissan 350z that was in the garage. the bloke is on holiday who owns it all.i hate baging anyone but you think that a quick drive around the area when i first rang would have been easy.not a big area to search as they come down at 7am picked up tv that fell out of the car but didnt have a look around,i mean i found the house at 9:30 after we got rained off and two others that these *@#&*@#&*@#&*@#&ers did over just by looking, rang the cops and got the response that i got. i didnt get the rego it was dark and happened all too quick Title: Re: sprung thief's this morning Post by: Peter Monty on January 12, 2011, 08,16:25 AM Dogs, the only salvation in this story is that these type of pricks will keep doing it & in the end get caught( By someone) at which time as Earl would say, Kama bites.
Nice job mate, too may people walk away! ;) Title: Re: sprung thief's this morning Post by: jarrod k on January 12, 2011, 08,26:18 AM im just pissed off with myself that i didnt getem more than anything

But remember to say "Yes your honor, he put his vehicle in reverse and rammed my car, I took evasive action but he wanted to hurt me !!!"
