There was one at al's merton ride last month

it was a demo from the shop.

from the reports i heard they ride great but a little thirsty on fuel.
i know early ones had valve issues but from what ive heard its fixed with the new ones, just check the fine print on the warrent in regards with your service schedule

cheers

As Dave said, you should have been here last month, we had a demo TE450 at the club meeting and at the Merton ride.
I rode it for most of the day and was very impressed with the new fuel injection, made the bike very rideable in technical stuff as it was so responsive to throttle change.
I ride a 05 TE510 so I'm partial to Husqvarnas!
Another thing that I really noticed that was better than my 05 was the front forks, the 50mm's work really well.
Fuel, the 08's have an 7.2 litre tank because the fuel injection pump is mounted in the tank. I got 90.1 km out of it on the Merton ride which is a bit short for a trail ride.
The 04's were the only one's that had real valve problems that were fixed under warranty, since then valves have not been a problem.
The two year warranty is a good thing, it gives peace of mind...
Make sure you talk to Dave at First Class Motorcycles in Lilydale (9739 7277) about anything Husqvarna, in my opiyon they are the best for Husqvarna in the state.
