Title: how to get rec reg on kids bike
Post by: Keith Coota on February 28, 2011, 10,25:16 PM
I have a honda crf 70 for the liitle boy. TAC 85 reg is about $200 so rec reg is a lot cheeper. So now I have to go through the process of modifying the bike and getting it rec reged>
Any personal experiences out there on how to fit out the bike and then get it rec reg?

Keith, I've done it, I can tell you about it this weekend on the Buller ride.

I have also done it. Just like doing a full size bike. Buy a rec reg kit from a bike shop and fit it. I used a battery to power the lights. This is not quiet legal but i got it through no problem. For the headlight i used a trials bike headlight. I also did a DS80, it already had lights so half the job was done already.
