Injured myself at work 4 x weeks ago,
I was on a metal lathe removing a tight colet chuck, when it let go my arm hit a drill in the tail stock, went to the local GP who sent me off for an ultrasound, his verdict "it was just a flesh wound ".
4 x weeks later it still hurts, got a magnet off the fridge and put it on my wrist, it stuck there !, had x rays done on Saturday broken drill is still in my arm, will hopefully have surgery this week to remove it.
Hope the pics have come out OK
Cheers,
Gary C

It has just skimmed off the side of the bone and is stuck in the flesh between them.

Yuk,

Sorry to hear that!

Ya gotta wonder about GPs sometimes.  I think they are overworked, but when you know that something is wrong, you want them to do more than pat you on the head and say it will be allright!

Sounds like its time to either get a new GP or stick the drill bit into his wrist and see how long he lasts without complaining Cheesy

Thats why I have little faith in western medicine, they are really good at heart transplants and sewing your arm back on when it was cut off and doing just the obvious stuff but do not ask then to do any diagnosis, but thats why they are doctors and I'm just a mechanic, I have to diagnose before I fix problems so they do not reoccur. And how good they charged the first time now they get to charge for fixing there mistakes, awsome isnt it. Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Will
